As always I can’t miss a Marvel movie (Ignoring the fact I missed Thor: Ragnarok). The mix the perfect amount of action and comedy as well as telling a decent story. Marvel is everything I wished DC would have been. I’ve grown a lot of respect for Michael B. Jordan’s acting and how could I possibly not go see Marting Freeman and Andy Serkis. How does that meme go? The only two white characters play both Bilbo Baggins and Smeagol. They are the two Tolkein white guys of the movie. All stupid jokes aside, this had an awesome cast line up.

This is your average Marvel origin story but this one has the advantage of being a character we have already met and learned a little bit about. I am still a little confused regarding the timeline of this movie as he has direct flash backs to his father dying in Captain America: Civil War however the Avengers he is harboring are nowhere to be seen. Beyond that I loved this story, even with its slightly predictable storyline, it was still really well executed. This is one of the better ‘bad guy’ development stories which is always difficult to do when you are also trying to build up your main character for an even bigger picture than just this film.

I’d recommend this movie to any Marvel fan obviously but I think this one would be better for an even bigger audience as well. I think it definitely hits the right spots and deserves the massive opening numbers it saw. Black Panther has become one of my more favorite Marvel characters and it all has to do with these movies. I look forward to seeing this character more in the future including the new Avengers: Infinity War movie. And I really can’t wait for the nerdy sister to meet Peter Parker as well as Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. I feel like there are many good connections to come.
